Andrea Biondi currently serves as Advocate General at the Court of Justice of the European Union since October 2024. Biondi has held the position of Professor of EU Law at King's College London since September 1997 and has been an Academic Associate at 39 Essex Chambers since March 2017. Additionally, Biondi was an Adjunct Professor at Luiss Guido Carli from January 2022 to October 2024 and served as Vice Chair of both the Board of Appeal ACER and the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) from September 2021 to October 2024. Biondi was also a Visiting Professor at Università Bocconi from January 2017 to January 2022 and worked as a Legal Advisor for the Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri from July 2015 to December 2016. Biondi earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Law from Università degli Studi di Firenze between 1992 and 1996.
