Lee Nickles

Lee Nickles is an experienced academic leader currently serving as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Director of Assessment and Instructional Technology at Western Carolina University since November 2006. Responsibilities include providing technology consultation, training, and support for the College of Education and Allied Professions while facilitating communication among faculty, staff, and stakeholders. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M University and Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, where contributions included developing a Learning Management System for engineering courses. Lee Nickles also has experience as a Graduate Assistant at Clemson University, focusing on research and teaching. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and multiple degrees in Industrial Engineering and Instructional Technology from Clemson University and East Carolina University, respectively.
