Dr. Dharani Munirathinam

Dr. Dharani Munirathinam has extensive work experience in the medical field, with a focus on safety science and pharmacovigilance. Dr. Dharani is currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at 3Analytics. Prior to this, Dr. Munirathinam worked at Rakuten Medical as the Medical Director, Safety Science from July 2019 to January 2021. Dr. Dharani also held the position of Director, Global Safety Lead at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals from June 2017 to July 2019.

Dr. Munirathinam has worked as a consultant for various organizations, including Amgen, where they served as a Global Safety Sr Medical Scientist from March 2015 to April 2016. Dr. Dharani also worked as an Engagement Manager, Drug Safety Physician & Aggregate Reports Specialist at Synowledge LLC from September 2013 to March 2015, where they were responsible for managing client interactions and acting as a liaison between the client and the company.

Prior to their consulting roles, Dr. Munirathinam worked at Accenture as a Business Advisor, Process Lead, and Aggregate Reports Safety Physician from April 2009 to May 2013. Dr. Dharani was involved in pharmacovigilance activities such as medical review of adverse event reports and drafting regulatory documents.

Dr. Munirathinam began their career in the medical field at Vijaya Heart Foundation, where they worked as a Senior House Officer from August 2004 to April 2005. Dr. Dharani also gained experience as a Clinical Observer at Madras Medical College and Research Institute from October 2004 to February 2005, where they participated in outpatient visits, ward rounds, and teaching medical students.
