Wendy Visser M.ed

Wendy Visser M.Ed, OCT, PGDip Auditory Verbal Studies is an experienced education professional specializing in deaf and hard of hearing individuals. Currently serving as a Digital Content Creator at 3C Digital Media Network, LLC since January 2022 and as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing at the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board since September 2015, Wendy also contributes as a Course Content Consultant at SoundIntuition and as an Auditory Verbal provider/educator in private practice for students using the auditory verbal approach. Wendy's extensive background includes previous roles as an Itinerant Resource Teacher at the Ottawa Catholic School Board and a coach at the Rideau Figure Skating Club. Wendy is actively involved in professional organizations related to auditory verbal therapy and has presented at conferences for the International Reading Association. Wendy holds multiple degrees from the University of Ottawa, including a Master's in Special Education, a Bachelor's in Education, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Auditory Verbal Studies.
