Steve Grothmann is the Director of Project Management at 3C Institute. Steve has over 20 years of experience in the field of project management. Prior to joining 3C Institute, Steve was the Project Manager at Newfangled Web Factory for 5 years. Steve was responsible for overseeing new site construction, coordinating with advertising/design agencies, clients, and Newfangled's designers, programmers, and resourcing department. Steve also consulted on site usability, information architecture, and search engine optimization. In addition, they provided user support and managed upgrades of existing sites for a large client list.

Before joining Newfangled Web Factory, Steve was a Program Assistant for the Town of Cary's Cultural Arts Division. Steve programmed, contracted and scheduled all musical entertainment on three stages for the 2006 Spring Daze Arts and Crafts festival.

Steve has also lectured at North Carolina State University and is a musician with the Countdown Quartet and other groups.

Steve Grothmann has a Webmaster Certificate from North Carolina State University's Computer Training Unit's Webmaster Cert. Program. Steve also has an MA in English from NC State University, and a BA in Humanities from Florida State University.
