Matthew Heidel has two years of work experience. In 2019, they began working as a Field Application Engineer at 3D Glass Solutions, Inc., where they were responsible for performing mechanical and passive electrical design for electronic components manufactured in unique photosensitive glass substrate. This involved all aspects of design from initial communication with a customer, exchanging drawings and models, refining design for manufacturability in a unique and frequently changing process, through testing and validation. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2019, they were employed as a Design Engineer at Victory Climate Systems. In this role, they were responsible for taking control of a product from initial customer contact to ongoing product production and end user support. Matthew was also responsible for the design of plastic and sheet metal housings for optimized air flow and space claim utilization, evaporator and heater coils, refrigerant and hot fluid tubing systems, electrical systems involving servo actuators for air redirection, wiring harnesses, and control panel function and aesthetic design.
Matthew Heidel obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology between 2012 and 2017.
