Lauren McIlwraith

Lauren McIlwraith has a significant background in finance and accounting. Lauren is currently serving as the Head of Finance at Insight Surgery since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at Playzido from June 2021 to April 2023. Before transitioning into a head role, Lauren worked at Alfa Financial Software as a Financial Controller from October 2017 to October 2019 and as an Assistant Controller from January 2017 to September 2017. Their earlier experience includes working at PwC, where they held various roles from 2008 to 2016. These roles included Deals Manager - Transaction Services, Capital Markets Senior Associate, and Assurance Intern to Senior Associate. Lauren gained extensive experience in complex accounting and financial reporting matters related to capital markets transactions, provided assurance services for IPOs and M&A transactions, and conducted external and internal audits for a range of organizations.
