Ravikant kamal

Ravikant Kamal has significant work experience in the medical and surgical field. Ravikant started their career as a Sales and Service Engineer at Medi Analytika India Private Limited in 2010. Ravikant then worked as a Biomedical Designer at Amplitude Surgical, where they were involved in the design and development of orthopedic implants and patient-specific instruments. After a brief period as an Associate Design Engineer at Stryker, they moved on to become a Design Engineer and later a Senior Design Engineer, specializing in patient-specific instrumentation for total knee replacements. At Stryker, they were responsible for delivering customized jigs and coordinating with the sales and service team, manufacturing unit, and surgeons to ensure a smooth surgical experience. Ravikant also played a role in developing scan protocols and providing sales training. In 2018, they became an independent researcher and focused on the role of patient-specific instrumentation and navigation in extra-articular deformity cases. Ravikant continued their research work while working as a Senior Design Engineer at Amplitude Surgical, where they optimized MRI/CT protocols and provided training for segmentation and preoperative planning. In 2019, they joined Jajal Medical as the Chief Technology Officer and later became a co-founder and Director of Research and Development. During their tenure, they developed various patient-specific instruments for different medical procedures, including shoulder arthroplasty, total knee replacement, cranio-maxillo-facial surgeries, and orbital reconstruction. Currently, they are working as a co-founder at 3D Surgical, a company they started in 2022.

Ravikant Kamal obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Bio-medical Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Ravikant then pursued a Master of Technology degree in Bio-medical Engineering from SRM University, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013.

Additionally, Ravikant Kamal has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Ravikant received the Lead Auditor- ISO 13485-2016 certification from BSI in December 2021. In December 2012, they completed the MIMICS STUDENT TRAINING COURSE at MATERIALISE. Prior to that, in July 2010, they obtained the CCBME certification from CARDEA LABS. Moreover, Ravikant also holds the certification of Internal Auditor- ISO 13485 from BSI, although the precise month and year of its completion are unspecified.
