Akarsh Sivaprasad

Akarsh Sivaprasad is a seasoned professional in the field of industrial design and engineering, currently serving as a Hardware Systems Architect at 3D Systems Corporation since March 2020, having previously held roles as a Senior Industrial Design Engineer and Industrial Design Engineer in Bio-printing R&D. Prior experience includes serving as a Design Studio and Digital Manufacturing Lab Instructor at the University at Buffalo, along with roles as a Graduate Research Assistant in both the Additive Manufacturing & Design Lab and the OPTIMATOR Lab. Akarsh also completed an internship at United Therapeutics Corporation in the Organ Manufacturing Group. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Advanced Additive Manufacturing & Prototyping Technology and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Advanced Manufacturing from the University at Buffalo, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University.
