Associate Vice President, Instructional Design at 3DE Schools

Devon Victoria Hagos has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 with their role as a Leadership Council Representative/Health Educator at Peer Health Exchange. During this time, they played a crucial role in recruiting educators and training them to deliver health curriculum in under-resourced high schools.

In 2012, Devon joined Teach For America as a Corps Member and achieved significant gains in literacy standardized assessments at their placement school. Devon Victoria also collaborated with a team of corps members in planning and facilitating professional development retreats for elementary teachers.

From 2014 to 2021, Devon worked at The Kindezi Schools as an Administrator/Educator. In this role, they executed a talent acquisition strategy, resulting in an increase in certified new teachers with more experience. Devon Victoria was also responsible for coordinating full-cycle recruiting and authoring digital job aids.

In 2019, Devon transitioned to VentureLab.org as a Curriculum Writer, where they contributed to the development of educational content.

Currently, since 2021, Devon is with 3DE Schools, first as the National Director of Content Development and Instructional Supports and now as the National Director of Instructional Design, showcasing their expertise in instructional design and support at a national level.

Devon Victoria Hagos holds a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction - Educational Technology from Purdue University, which was completed from 2018 to 2020. In addition, Devon obtained a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from Purdue University in 2019. Earlier, Devon pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, Business Law from the University of Southern California from 2008 to 2011. Their education journey began at the Alabama School of Fine Arts from 2004 to 2008, where they studied Theatre. In 2019, Devon obtained a Professional Teaching Certificate from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
