Joshua Thompson

Joshua Thompson is an experienced professional specializing in carbon projects and sustainability. Currently serving as Manager of Carbon Projects at 3Degrees Group, Inc. since May 2022, Joshua focuses on addressing greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation sector. Previously, Joshua held the position of Associate in Carbon Markets, emphasizing the importance of verified carbon credits for emission reduction. Prior experience includes roles as Research Assistant at Rainforest Alliance, conducting research on sustainable forestry financing and market strategies for non-timber forest products in Guatemala, as well as conducting value chain analysis for smallholder timber cooperatives.
