Walter Galvez has ten years of work experience in the engineering field. Walter began their career in 2012 as a Mechanical Engineer at HS Design, Inc. where they collaborated with diverse cross-functional product development teams and applied knowledge of human body/tissue behaviors and human factors to device design. In 2014, they moved on to Start LLC as a Mechanical Engineer. In 2015, they joined BD as an R&D Engineer and then moved to Stryker in 2016 as a Project Engineer. In 2017, they worked as an Engineering Project Manager at G.E.O - Design Engineering Services INC (USA) and as a Production Engineer at Getinge. Walter also worked as an Adjunct Professor for Production Methods I & II, Michael Graves College at Kean University in 2013. Currently, they are a QC, Product Quality, Regulatory Manager, Sr. R&D / Mechanical Engineer, and R&D / Mechanical Engineer at 3DISC, and Secretary, Baltimore Section at IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society.
Walter Galvez obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology between 2007 and 2011. Prior to this, they attended Pequannock Township High School from 2003 to 2007. In September 2012, they obtained a Solidworks Simulation Professional certification from Cimquest.
