Julian Stöttinger is an accomplished data science leader with extensive experience in industrial machine learning and computer vision. Currently serving as the Director of Data Science at 3E since April 2022, Julian previously held the position of Principal Data Scientist and Team Lead at Verisk from April 2019 to April 2022. Julian's early career includes roles at SAP focusing on machine learning and integration development, as well as a post-doctoral research position at the University of Trento. Julian co-founded KITSCH media and was a PhD candidate at Vienna University of Technology, where extensive research in data mining and machine learning was conducted. Julian holds a Doctor of Science in Computer Science, along with multiple master’s degrees and a Bachelor of Science in Media Informatics, all from Technische Universität Wien.
