Terry Dyess

Terry Dyess has over 30 years of experience in leadership roles, including serving as Founder & CEO of 3GIMBALS starting in 2023, and serving previously as President & CEO of 3GIMBALS, LLC. Prior to that, Dyess served as NGA Account Lead and Senior Principal for The Clearing, Inc., where they provided consulting support for NGA portfolio management and strategy. Terry also served as Chief Financial Officer for the Logistics Officer Association, and Director of Consulting Services for Terrell & Associates, LLC. Dyess began their career in the US Air Force as a Logistics Leader, serving in a variety of planning and change management roles across multiple organizations including Special Operations (AFSOC and SOCOM), Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), and the Joint Staff.

Terry Dyess graduated from Forest Hill High School in 1985 before attending the United States Air Force Academy from 1985-1989, where they received a degree in International Affairs. Terry went on to earn an MS in Logistics Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology in 1994. In 2001, Dyess completed the Military Staff and History program at the US Army Command and General Staff College and the Joint Staff Officers Course, JPME II at the Joint Forces Staff College. Terry also received a certificate from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School's Advanced Program in Logistics and Technology and the Logistics Executive Development Program from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Finally, in 2002-2003, Dyess received a Master of Military Arts and Sciences in Military Operational Planning from the US Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS).
