Lauren Mead

Lauren Mead has a wealth of professional experience, beginning in 2001 when they worked as a Banker/Underwriter/Analyst at JPMorgan Chase. In 2006, they co-founded Power Links, LLC. From 2013-2014, they worked at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business as a Teaching Assistant- New Venture and Small Enterprise Lab. During the same time period, they held a Summer Associate role at MATH Venture Partners. From 2014-2016, they were the Corporate Strategy Manager at Brooklyn Boulders LLC. In 2016, they became the Managing Director, Head of Business Development at Free Market Ventures. From 2017-2021, they held the role of Summit Global Ambassador at Summit, and in 2021 they became the Managing Director, Investor Relations at Chicago Atlantic Group. Finally, in 2022, they were appointed Regional Director of Midwest, West, Canada at 3i.

Lauren Mead completed their MBA in Economics and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business between 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Business Administration and Marketing from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1997 and 2001.
