Managing Partner, Head of North American Infrastructure at 3i

Rob Collins is currently the Managing Partner, Head of North American Infrastructure at 3i. Prior to this, they were the Head of Global Investments for North America & Europe at Hastings Funds Management from January 2013 to December 2017. Before that, they were the Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure for the Americas at Greenhill & Co. from January 2009 to December 2013. Prior to that, they were Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure for the Americas at Morgan Stanley from January 2005 to December 2009. Before that, they were Vice President at Goldman Sachs from January 2000 to December 2005. Rob's very first job was as a Lieutenant, Nuclear Engineer, Naval Reactors for the US Navy from January 1991 to December 1996.

Rob Collins has an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, a Masters Equivalent in Nuclear Engineering from Bettis Reactor Engineering School, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.

They are on a team with Jasi Halai - Chief Operating Officer, Scott Moseley - Managing Partner, Co-Head of European Infrastructure, and Simon Friberg Andersen - Digital Director. Rob Collins reports to Simon Borrows, CEO.
