Tanvi Lal

Tanvi works on all aspects of communication, with a special focus on website content and social media. She works to ensure that 3ie is communicating regularly and well with our main audiences across all of our channels. Before joining 3ie, Tanvi worked with several organisations in Washington DC, including the International Research and Exchanges Board on developing new business proposals; as a researcher at the World Bank focusing on gender-based violence; and with the Urban Institute on water service delivery. She also volunteered with the Partnership for Transparency Fund on gender and corruption issues. Prior to studying and working in the US, Tanvi worked as a legislative assistant to an Indian member of parliament and as a broadcast journalist with Times Now. Tanvi has a Master of Arts in International Development from George Washington University, a diploma in broadcast journalism from the Asian College of Journalism and a BA in English literature from Delhi University.
