Nicholas Boynton is a PhD candidate in Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Detroit Mercy. Boynton has diverse experience in research and academia, including roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Chicago. Notably, Boynton served as a NASA Space Technology Graduate Research Fellow, focusing on multifunctional materials and passive energy generation. Recent positions include an ADvantage Intern at Bain & Company and an Innovation Fund Associate at the Polsky Center, as well as recognition as an Inflection Awardee for contributions to climate technology. Currently, Boynton is a Senior Research Chemist at 3M.
