Austin Raithel

Austin Raithel, Ph.D., currently serves as a Process Development Chemist at ICL Group since April 2023. Prior to this role, Raithel gained experience as a Scientist and Team Leader at Eurofins | EAG Laboratories, where responsibilities included identifying contaminants using advanced spectroscopic techniques and developing GMP protocols for product commercialization. Raithel's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Michigan State University, where significant research focused on novel inorganic/organic materials for semiconductor applications. Raithel also has extensive teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, leading various undergraduate chemistry courses. Earlier professional experience includes roles in quality assurance and scientific research, with a focus on pesticide residue analysis and biosecurity research.
