Robert Lubitz, MD, MPH, FACHE, MACP has an extensive and impressive work experience in the healthcare industry. Robert served as the Chief Medical Officer of 3Oe Scientific, a biomedical device company focused on disrupting healthcare acquired infections. In this role, they were responsible for driving product development, clinical integration strategies, and operational capabilities.

Dr. Lubitz also worked as a Principal at Progressive Healthcare, Inc., where they provided strategy, operations, and quality consulting services to healthcare organizations. Their focus was on helping organizations achieve sustainable improvement in patient outcomes, develop a culture of continuous improvement, and gain competitive advantage through physician/hospital integration and care redesign.

Prior to that, Dr. Lubitz served as the Vice President of Medical Affairs and System Lead for Quality and Safety at WellStar Health System. In this role, they drove results for a large community academic trauma center, leading process improvement, quality initiatives, and emergency preparedness efforts.

Robert also held leadership positions at St. Vincent Hospitals and Healthcare Centers, where they served as Vice President and DIO, driving results for a multi-hospital network. In addition, they served as the Executive Director/Director, overseeing residency and fellowship programs, leading growth strategies, and transforming research operations.

Dr. Lubitz has also contributed to Ascension Health as the Graduate Medical Education Lead, overseeing the development of a system-wide vision for graduate medical education. Robert also served as the Research Integrity Officer during their time at Ascension Health.

Early in their career, Dr. Lubitz worked at Indiana University School of Medicine as the Director of Inpatient Medicine and Research Programs, where they led curriculum development and implementation, as well as the re-development of the Department of Medicine Mission and Vision.

Robert Lubitz, MD, MPH, FACHE, MACP pursued their education starting with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where they obtained their MD degree. Following this, they attended Indiana University Bloomington, where they completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) program.
