Marta Smirnova

Marta Smirnova has a diverse and extensive work experience. Marta has been working in the banking and finance industry since 2010. In 2010 they began as a Personal Assistant at Swedbank. In 2011 they moved to Rietumu Banka and held various roles including FI Relationship Manager, Manager Business Development, VIP Manager, and Customer Support Specialist. In 2021 they joined SIA Smart Learning as a Project Author. Currently, Marta is a Business Consultant and Key Account Manager at 3S Money since 2022. As a Key Account Manager, they are responsible for connecting corporates to their customers globally by providing them with local business accounts to send and receive funds through all major payment rails.

Marta Smirnova obtained a Master's degree in International Finance from RISEBA University between 2015 and 2018. Marta also earned a Bachelor's degree in European Business Studies from RISEBA University between 2008 and 2012. In 2011, Marta attended OMNES Education for an ERASMUS program in Finance and Marketing and the University of Cambridge for a Boot Camp in Entrepreneurship. Additionally, Marta has obtained a B1 in French language from Alliance Française in Bordeaux. Marta also holds certifications from the CFA Institute, including a CFA level 1 exam passed in January 2019 and CFA Institute - 2016 Research Challenge - Local Participant.
