Michael Rodas Lorenzen

Michael Rodas Lorenzen is a highly experienced patent attorney and people manager currently serving as the Principal Patent Attorney at 3Shape since January 2022. Michael's expertise encompasses managing trademark and US litigation teams, handling oppositions, and drafting patent and design applications. Previously, Michael held the role of Head of IP at Demant, overseeing the IP portfolio for Oticon Medical and engaging in various patent-related activities, including negotiating license agreements and training IP engineers. With a background in R&D engineering, Michael has substantial knowledge in optical technologies and project management. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Telecommunication from DTU and various diplomas in project management and IP studies. Michael also contributes as a board member for Dansk Forening for Industriens Patent og Varemærkespecialister.
