Joseph K. Loughlin is a seasoned training and development consultant currently engaged with 3SI International Security Systems as a part-time consultant and regional coordinator since September 2010. Joseph's role focuses on educating police officers on new technologies, particularly in GPS tracking and officer safety responses to crime. Additionally, Joseph has co-authored the non-fiction book "Shots Fired" alongside Kate Clark Flora. Before this, Joseph served as Deputy Chief of Police in the City of Portland, Maine, where tenure included a period as Interim Chief of Police from August 2008 to June 2009. Prior experience also includes a position as Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Athletic Coach at Saint Joseph's College. Joseph holds a Master of Science in Adult Education/Human Resources Development from the University of Southern Maine, completed training at the FBI National Academy, and earned a BA in Natural Science/Liberal Arts from Saint Joseph's College.
