Maria Paula Otero

Maria Paula Otero is an experienced Engagement and Communication Designer currently working at 3x3 since August 2023. Previously, Maria Paula held roles as a UX Designer and Researcher at The School of Wonder, where a project focused on enhancing social-emotional learning in New York City's public schools was led through extensive ethnographic research. At Diagram, LLC, design research was conducted to improve patient care by identifying transformation opportunities, while at 3x3, collaboration on the Chinatown Downtown Revitalization Initiative Project boosted community engagement. Maria Paula’s academic background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. Additional experience includes roles in graphic design, interior design, and volunteer work in palliative care.
