Laura Tonning is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at both 3Z Brands and Helix since 2021 and 2017 respectively, Laura has also held previous positions such as Director and Senior Software Engineer at Helix. As Co-Founder and CTO at Sonotes, Inc. and Castmate, Laura designed innovative platforms, utilizing modern technologies like Laravel and Vue. A freelance web developer from 2005 to 2015, Laura provided tailored web solutions and modernized legacy systems, while also leading development at Zenji Labs and founding Dream Lab Nine to support the Theatre & Film community.
