Dean Atkins has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. In 1995, they started their career as a Portfolio Manager at Abbey National Treasury Services and held this position until 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Portfolio Manager at Quadrant Capital. Dean then joined ABN AMRO Bank, where they held various positions such as Executive Director, European ABS Trading & Syndicate from 2001 to 2005, Global Head of Structured Finance Trading from 2005 to 2006, and Global Head of ABS Exotics from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they became the Managing Director of SCTS Ltd, specializing in structured asset and complex credit risk advisory. Dean then merged with Kinson Capital in 2009, where they served as the CEO/CIO until 2016. During the same period, they also played a significant role as the Founding Chairman and Board Member of The Catalyst Club at Cancer Research UK, leading the funding of cutting-edge genetic cancer research. Lastly, since 2016, Dean Atkins has been the Managing Director and Head of 400CM Europe at 400 Capital Management LLC.

Dean Atkins attended the University of Cambridge from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a M.A. degree in Economics.
