Silvia Blanco García has been working in the software engineering and development field since 2014. In 2014, they completed Professional Practices at the Instituto de Física de Cantabria (IFCA). In 2015, they worked as a Software Developer at Logicalis. In 2016, they worked as a Research Fellow at BSH Spain and also as a Research Staff at the Universidad de Cantabria, where they were responsible for the tensile characterization of tempered glass using non-destructive techniques in a collaborative project with BSH Electrodomésticos ESPAÑA S. A. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Software Developer at Sopra Steria, and is currently employed as a Software Engineer at 47 Degrees.
Silvia Blanco García has a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Universidad de Cantabria, which they obtained in 2015. Silvia then went on to receive their Master's Degree in New Materials from the same university in 2016. Her field of study was Science of Materials and Engineering Physics/Applied Physics.
