Mathilda Jansson

Mathilda Jansson has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Mathilda began their career at Academic Work Sweden as an Operator at SOS Alarm, the Swedish National Emergency Agency. Mathilda then joined Control Risks and completed a Security Manager and Consultant Course.

Following that, Mathilda worked as an intern at the Embassy of Sweden section office in Yangon for the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mathilda later joined Regeringskansliet, Utrikesdepartementet as an Intern in the Section office in Myanmar, where they were supervised by the Head of Section Office Johan Hallenborg.

Mathilda then joined SOS Alarm as a Crisis and Emergency Response Officer, where they were responsible for coordinating and sharing information during emergencies and crises. Mathilda also served as a Press Officer, including being on-call to handle press inquiries outside of office hours.

Next, Mathilda joined 4C Strategies, where they held multiple roles. Mathilda started as an Analyst and later became a Delivery Consultant, working with incident management, business continuity, and project management. Mathilda then moved up to become a Delivery Team Manager, responsible for public and corporate clients, before ultimately becoming a Senior Consultant.

In 2022, Mathilda joined Kenyon International Emergency Services as a Kenyon Team Member. Mathilda also participated in the Ship for World Youth program, leading the Swedish delegation and focusing on leadership and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Additionally, Mathilda participated in the Next Generation Leaders Mentorship Program at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK as a Mentee.

Mathilda also volunteered at Gender and Development for Cambodia (GADC), where they worked on campaign strategies and risk analysis.

Throughout their career, Mathilda has gained extensive experience in crisis management, emergency response, project management, and leadership.

Mathilda Jansson's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Security Studies from Försvarshögskolan - Swedish Defence University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Gymnasieexamen in Social Science the Aid Programme at Västerås fria gymnasium from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Mathilda has also obtained several certifications. These include the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) from Highfield, obtained in August 2021, the CBCI Certified (GPG 2018 Edition) from the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), obtained in November 2020, the SRF BTEC Level 4 Professional Certificate from Pearson, obtained in January 2017, and the Sos-operator certification from SOS Alarm, obtained in June 2015.
