Chris Bray has a diverse work experience in various roles within the biotechnology industry. Chris started their career as a Junior Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the Reproductive Biology and Genetics group in the Department of Medicine at the University of Birmingham, UK in 1998. Chris then moved on to work as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Human Anatomy and Cell Biology at UC Davis from 2000 to 2005.
Following their research positions, Chris worked as an Assistant Cell Biologist at UC Davis from 2005 to 2007. Chris then joined the University of California, Berkeley as an Associate Research Specialist in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, Division of Neurobiology, where they developed a novel molecular imaging technique to track protein-protein interactions during synaptic transmission from 2007 to 2011.
In 2011, Chris transitioned to the biotechnology industry and became a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Accuray, specializing in product complaint management. Chris was responsible for investigating and resolving product safety and quality issues for the CyberKnife robotic radiosurgery system.

Chris Bray received their education from the University of Reading. Chris completed a BSc Hons degree in Pathobiology with Chemistry from 1990 to 1993. In 2013, they received the RAC certification from the Regulatory Affairs Certification Program and the RAC-US certification from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS). In 2022, they obtained certifications in Developing Business Acumen, Building Inclusive Work Communities, and Strategies to Foster Inclusive Language at Work from LinkedIn.
