David Asarnow has had a diverse work experience. David started their career at Berlex Biosciences in 1993, where they worked as a Staff Scientist until 2001. David then joined Bayer HealthCare LLC, where they served as a QC Manager for Virology and Biological Testing from 2002 to 2011. After that, they worked at MedImmune Vaccines as a Senior Manager in Research from 2011 to 2012. David then held various roles at different companies, including BioMarin as a Quality Manager in 2013, InterMune as a Quality Assurance Consultant, and SAGE Encyclopedia of Stem Cell Research as a Contributing Author, both in 2014. In the same year, they worked as a Market Research Consultant at HighTech Business Decisions and as a Regulatory Affairs Manager at Linkage Biosciences from 2014 to 2016. David'smost recent position has been at Interson Medical Instruments, where they served as a Quality/Regulatory Affairs Manager from 2016 to 2018. Currently, David Asarnow is the Director of Quality & Compliance at 4D Molecular Therapeutics, a position they have held since December 2018.
David Asarnow received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. David then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from the University of California, Berkeley, completing their studies from 1984 to 1989. In addition to their formal education, David obtained additional certifications including Registered Patent Agent from the US Patent and Trademark Office in January 2003, and Certified Quality Auditor from ASQ in December 2012.
