Julian Pei

Julian Pei began their work experience in 2012 as a Franchise Business Analyst at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. Julian then worked as an Investment Analyst in Biopharma at BlackRock in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Analyst in M&A at Citi. The following year, they became an Analyst in M&A at Citi. From 2016 to 2019, Julian worked at Centerview Partners, starting as an Analyst and later becoming an Associate in Mark Robinson's Life Sciences M&A & Strategic Advisory Group. During their time at Centerview Partners, they managed cross-functional teams for various strategic advisory projects and gained transaction experience in M&A deals. Julian's most recent position, which they started in 2020, is Sr. Director of Corporate Finance and Head of Investor Relations & Corporate Communications at 4D Molecular Therapeutics. Julian has held multiple roles at 4D Molecular Therapeutics, including Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Finance, Director of Corporate Finance and FP&A, Associate Director of Corporate Finance and FP&A, and Senior Manager of Corporate Finance and FP&A.

Julian Pei completed their high school education at North Penn High School, where they graduated as the Valedictorian. Julian then went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania from 2011 to 2015. At UPenn, Julian pursued a double major, earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Julian concentrated their studies in Finance and Healthcare Management through the Roy and Diana Vagelos Program in Life Sciences and Management.
