Matthew Park

Matthew Park has a extensive work experience in the field of information technology, with a focus on the biotech and bio-pharmaceutical industries. Matthew currently holds the position of Vice President Information Technology at 4D Molecular Therapeutics, starting in June 2021.

Prior to their current role, Matthew served as the Executive Director, Information Technology at UNITY Biotechnology from April 2019 to June 2021. During their time at UNITY Biotechnology, they were responsible for leading the IT department and overseeing IT operations and infrastructure.

Before that, Matthew worked as the Senior Director, Infrastructure, Operations and Security at Theravance Biopharma US, Inc. from July 2017 to March 2019. In this role, they played a key role in developing and executing the IT strategy, specifically focusing on infrastructure, operations, and security.

Matthew also gained valuable experience at Medivation, where they served as the Director, IT Infrastructure & Operations from November 2013 to June 2017. Matthew demonstrated their leadership skills by overseeing IT project delivery, service strategy, architecture, solution engineering, operations, customer support services, vendor and financial management.

Prior to their role at Medivation, Matthew worked at UCSF Medical Center as an Executive IT Management Consultant from December 2012 to November 2013. Matthew was responsible for providing strategic IT consulting services as part of the Taos Office of the CIO.

Matthew's career began at Affiliated Computer Services in December 1991, where they served as an IT Manager. Matthew was responsible for leading the managed services division and providing design, implementation, and ongoing support to multiple clients in the Western US.

Throughout their career, Matthew has held various other positions in notable organizations such as Federal Home Loan Bank, Silk Route Technology, Montgomery Asset Management, and First Databank (FDB), where they contributed their expertise in IT project delivery, service strategy, architecture, solution engineering, security, operations, customer support services, development, and financial management.

Matthew Park attended Washington University from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in English. Following that, they pursued Spanish Studies from 1990 to 1991 at the Universidad de Guanajuato.
