Matthias Schneider

Matthias Schneider is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive and technology sectors, currently serving as Vice President IT RD, Security & Data at Mercedes-Benz AG since March 2016. Previous roles at Mercedes-Benz AG include Director for MBOS Cloud, Data and UX, and Director of User Interaction & Software, as well as Senior Manager for Vehicle Functions & Cloud Platform. Schneider also contributed to MBRDNA as Head of User Interface Software Development and held various managerial positions at Daimler AG from February 2002 to July 2013, including Manager of In-car Navigation and Manager of Telephone & Connectivity. Schneider holds a Diplom-Ingenieur (BA) degree in Electric/Electronics Engineering from Berufsakademie Stuttgart.
