Kai Ludwig is a Senior Medical and Clinical Affairs Scientist at 4DMedical since September 2024. Previously, Kai held the position of Senior Imaging Scientist at Imbio from August 2019 to September 2024, where responsibilities included software development and clinical investigations for deep learning AI algorithms, as well as serving as Principal Investigator for NIH SBIR-type R&D grants. Prior to that, Kai was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Minnesota, focusing on MR pulse sequence design and data management for orthopedic imaging clinical trials. Kai started at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Graduate Research Assistant, enhancing MRI pulse sequence measurements and leading clinical efforts in immune cell tracking. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Medical Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and post-doctoral training in Musculoskeletal Magnetic Resonance Imaging from the University of Minnesota.
