Jorge Santibanez

Jorge Santibanez serves as the Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at Alteon Health since 2016, where responsibilities include managing over 45 acute care hospitals across 16 states and overseeing 400 clinicians, focusing on accountability and patient outcomes through value-based healthcare programs. Previously, Jorge held the role of Chief Medical Officer at Landmark Long Term Acute Care Hospital from 2014 to 2018, where significant process improvements increased patient load threefold. As President of Utah Regional Hospitalists from 2014 to 2016, Jorge expanded the organization to over 260,000 patient encounters, establishing it as Utah's largest hospitalist group. Additionally, Jorge founded Intermountain Hospitalists and held various leadership roles in multiple healthcare institutions. Jorge's educational background includes an MBA from Brigham Young University and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
