Sam Scales is a seasoned professional in credit risk management with extensive experience across various financial institutions. Currently serving as Associate Director at 4most since October 2022, Sam previously held the position of Senior Manager at Klarna, focusing on credit risk underwriting strategies for UK products, including BNPL and Retail Finance. Prior roles include Head of Retail Credit Analytics at Close Brothers, Senior Credit Risk Manager at Lloyds Banking Group, and various positions at Equifax and Lloyds TSB, where skills in model development, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration were honed. Sam holds a BSc in Mathematics with Finance from the University of Brighton.
