Paul Filanowski

Paul Filanowski is the Director of Business Development at 4Pines Fund Services. Paul has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Paul started their career as an Assistant Product Manager at Telekurs Financial from 1996-1999. Paul then became a Product Manager at Multex.com from 2000-2002 before moving on to Citigroup Asset Management as an AVP from 2002-2004. In 2004, they joined Commonfund as a Senior Business Analyst and was with the company until 2009.

From 2009-2015, Paul worked as the Latin America Business Development Manager at SIX Financial Information. Paul then joined AltaReturn as a Strategic Account Manager in 2016 and was with the company for four years until 2020. Most recently, they joined 4Pines Fund Services as the Director of Business Development.

In their current role, Paul is responsible for leading business development initiatives and expanding the company’s client base. Paul is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful sales plans. Under Paul’s leadership, 4Pines has experienced significant growth in new clients and revenue.

Paul Filanowski has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Salve Regina University and has completed a Large Account Management Process class from Miller Heiman Training.

Paul Filanowski reports to Michael Trinkaus, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder. Paul Filanowski works with Bob Balfe - Chief Technology Officer, Bob Chowaniec - Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder, and Michael Stefanoni - Head of AML/KYC and Fund Data Operations.
