4th Second
Kayla Parker, MPH, currently serves as the Youth Program Manager at 4th Second since November 2023, having previously held the position of Program Coordinator and Community Health Worker for Adults with Sickle Cell Disease at the West Fresno Family Resource Center since May 2020. From June 2016 to May 2020, Kayla worked as a Child Care Worker II at Promesa Behavioral Health. Kayla's educational background includes a Master of Public Health degree obtained from California State University, Fresno, between 2018 and 2021, a Bachelor of Health Science in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the same university from 2014 to 2016, and an Associate of Science degree in Behavioral Sciences from Santa Rosa Junior College.

If Earth's 4.5 billion years were scaled down to one day, humans have been present for 3 seconds. How will we shape our 4th second? We believe our 4th second should be an equitable and sustainable world where all people are housed, fed, healthy, inspired, and part of a thriving ecosystem. We seek to catalyze systemic change through direct service, fostering collaboration, and growing community capacity to bridge gaps between community needs and resources.
