As the world faces greater challenges-from increasing inequality gaps to global healthcare threats- a new fourth sector, also known as for-benefit enterprises, is emerging. This fourth sector combines market-based approaches of the private sector with the social and environmental aims of the public and non-profit sectors to address the problems of the people. 4th Sector is a uniquely service-oriented, mission-lived integrator delivering technology-enabled enterprise transformation through systems-based strategic advisory services, organizational change management, human centered design, architecture planning, devsecops, and implementation science in an agile iterative cycle to create a highly-reliable learning health system that will vastly improve the quality of life for Veterans, their caregivers, and the providers and staff who serve them. Together with our government and industry partners, we are leading a trustworthy, patient-centered and value-based transformation of the U.S. healthcare delivery system.
