Bill McMurry

Bill McMurry has an extensive work experience in law enforcement and global strategy. Bill is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of W1 Global since July 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Global Strategy and Federal Programs at 5 Stones Intelligence Inc. starting in July 2020.

Before their corporate roles, Bill had a long career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) where they served as a Supervisory Special Agent from June 2015 to June 2020. In this role, they supervised a team investigating international corruption cases, including the 1MDB and Odebrecht investigations. Bill also had the position of Special Agent at the FBI from August 1996 to June 2015, where they focused on investigating complex international criminal enterprises.

Earlier in their career, Bill McMurry was a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) from August 1992 to April 1996. Bill conducted and supervised investigations on both criminal and national security matters, including deployments to Mogadishu, Somalia, and Cairo, Egypt in support of military operations.

Overall, Bill McMurry has extensive experience in law enforcement, international investigations, global strategy, and leadership roles.

Bill McMurry attended West Virginia University from 1988 to 1992, majoring in Psychology.
