Global Head Of Education at 500 Global

As the Head of Global Education at 500 Startups, Paulina Szyrmer leads the design and implementation of investor training programs in Silicon Valley and around the world. Previously, she ran Educational Operations at Enova, a social impact company which creates innovative educational models and spaces in Mexico. She has also worked as an education specialist for UNDP in the Gambia and for Chartwell Education Group in New York. She has broad international experience, having worked at an economic think tank in Warsaw, Poland and at NGO working with street children in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Politics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a Master’s in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics. She is fluent in six languages.
