Mauro Carrera De Franceschi

Mauro Carrera De Franceschi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Mauro began their career in 2009 as a Technical Support Level 1 at the government of the City of Buenos Aires, where they provided onsite technical support and assisted in the development of the Intranet and internal systems.

In 2013, Mauro joined Novartis as an Information Security Analyst, responsible for keeping the Head office informed of any security issues using Qualys, Inc technology. Mauro then worked at Hewlett-Packard as a Technical Support Level 2, where they identified and resolved issues with failed batches and utilized SMS, Avaya monitoring, and Service Manager 9.

Mauro co-founded NIGHTCLOUD S.A.S in 2016, developing a premier platform for access control and promoter management in the event and nightclub industry. Mauro created a mobile application offering a directory of events and nightclubs and forged national and international partnerships to enhance user experience.

In 2014, Mauro joined VAIX S.R.L. as a Technical Support Level 2, advancing to the role of IT Manager. Mauro delivered technical solutions to clients, managed a support team, and represented the company during client visits to Chile and Mexico.

From 2020 to 2021, Mauro worked as a WordPress Developer at Agencia/Floral, designing and maintaining websites using WordPress and Elementor. Mauro collaborated with the design and marketing team to meet client requirements and ensure visually appealing and user-friendly websites.

At Globant, Mauro held several roles from 2021 to 2022. As a WordPress Technical Leader, they mentored and led a team of developers across multiple countries, ensuring the use of appropriate technologies and providing training in WordPress, Elementor, Crocoblock, and WooCommerce. Later, as the WordPress Tech Lead, they managed the development and maintenance of internal websites, implementing strategies to optimize performance and address issues.

Currently, Mauro is the Regional Tech Lead at 500 Designs, where they direct a team of WordPress developers in LATAM. Mauro guides and mentors the team to deliver visually captivating and high-performing websites using Elementor, Crocoblock, and WooCommerce. Additionally, they collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to provide custom web solutions, enforces WordPress security best practices, and continuously improves development processes.

Mauro Carrera De Franceschi completed their secondary education at Colegio del Arce from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachiller degree with a focus on Informática. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career, including "Clifton Strengths, Certification of Talent 34" from Gallup in June 2023, "Master AI with Prompt Engineering" from Udemy in March 2023, and "Master en CSS: Responsive, SASS, Flexbox, Grid y Bootstrap 4" from Udemy in August 2020. Mauro also holds certifications in Customer Service and Internet Marketing from Nubelo in July 2016.
