Lee Nilson

Lee Nilson is a seasoned electrical systems engineer with extensive experience in product management and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer at 509 since January 2022, Lee has previously held significant positions at Pyrotek, where responsibilities included global product management and technical training from July 2008 to May 2020. Prior experience also encompasses a senior engineering role at Kim Hotstart Mfg Co, focusing on research and development, product development, and metrology from June 1990 to February 2008, along with a systems engineering position at Teledyne Ryan Electronics from June 1985 to June 1990, specializing in Doppler navigation and GPS systems. Lee’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from Montana College of Mineral Science and coursework in electrical engineering and microprocessor development at San Diego State University.
