Doug Stephon

Doug Stephon has over 14 years of work experience in various leadership roles in the federal programs and consulting industry. Doug is currently serving as the Senior Director for Federal Programs at Company 540 since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Octo Consulting Group as a Director and Senior Program Manager from July 2018 to April 2020. Doug also served as a Senior Program Manager and Account Manager at CSRA Inc from November 2015 to July 2018, where they successfully led a team in executing the Arrivals and Departures Information System mission. Doug also has experience working at CSC as a Program Manager/Deputy Program Manager, where they provided critical program management expertise for the Verification Information System mission. In addition, they worked as a Program Manager at Evoke Research and Consulting, LLC, leading a team in supporting the Business Management Office of the OIT in the Transportation Security Administration. Doug started their career at Kadix Systems, LLC as an Associate Director, leading a team in re-engineering critical business processes for USCIS Verification Division. Doug is also a Member of the Advisory Council for Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times at the George Washington University School of Business since November 2021.

Doug Stephon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Michigan State University, which they obtained between 1990 and 1995. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business, attending from 2006 to 2008. In terms of additional certifications, Doug acquired the ITIL Foundation Level certification and the ITIL Service Design (ITIL-SD) certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2019. Doug also holds the CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification from Scrum Alliance, obtained in January 2016. Furthermore, Doug has the PMI-ACP (PMI Agile Certified Practitioner) certification from the Project Management Institute, achieved in March 2015. Doug obtained the PMI-RMP (PMI Risk Management Professional) certification in November 2012, along with the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner certification and PMP (Project Management Professional) certification in October 2007. Additionally, Doug received the SAFe SA certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in November 2018.
