Alex Eden-Smith is an experienced music industry professional currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Label at 5dB since September 2023, and as Co-Founder of Watchtower Management, which specializes in artist management and consultancy. With a career spanning over two decades, Alex co-founded Cross Keys Records in February 2011 and held various senior roles at Columbia Records from October 2013 to June 2023, including General Manager and Director of Marketing. Previous experience includes positions at Parlophone (EMI) and Virgin Records (EMI), where marketing expertise was developed. Earlier in the career, Alex worked as a Secondary School Teacher of English at Teach First after earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Leeds.
