Eugene Golubev

Eugene Golubev has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Programmer/developer at NAI Becar, developing external sites for the group of companies. Eugene then joined Atlant Media Ltd. as a Senior Developer, where they developed portals, wrote macros in VB, and worked on small informational websites using CMS Joomla 1.5.

In 2010, Eugene worked as a freelancer, taking on various roles such as Full-stack developer, team lead, and project manager. Eugene was responsible for developing web projects, collaborating with clients, and preparing technical specifications.

From 2011 to 2012, Eugene worked as a Web-developer at Colambus Studio, contributing to the development of a startup for conducting sports bets. Eugene also worked on backend development using Python and PostgreSQL and handled frontend tasks using JS and jQuery.

From 2012 to 2015, Eugene worked as a Web-developer at PIKComp, focusing on backend development (PHP, MySQL) and frontend development (HTML, CSS, JS) for a high-loaded online store project.

Eugene then joined Broadcast station "Dorognoe radio" in 2012 as a Teamlead, Full-Stack developer. Eugene led a team and played a crucial role in developing backend and frontend solutions for a music streaming service. Eugene also worked with Python, Django, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular.js, nginx, and ElasticSearch.

In 2015, Eugene worked at Arcadia Inc. as a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a short duration, participating in the development of a movies tagging application for a well-known film production company.

From 2015 to 2019, Eugene worked as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at 5th Kind Inc., contributing to the development of their Secure Digital Assets Management System (CORE). Eugene also led frontend development using Angular, TypeScript, Webpack, and LESS.

Starting in 2019, Eugene joined Open Assessment Technologies S.A. as a Senior Back End Developer, focusing on backend development using PHP (Symfony), Go, and Google Cloud Platform services like BigTable, Spanner, and PubSub.

Finally, Eugene returned to 5th Kind Inc. in 2020, where they served as a Software Engineering Team Lead, overseeing frontend, mobile, and backend development. Eugene successfully organized offshore engineering teams, planned refactoring and improvements, and coordinated work between UI and API teams. Eugene worked with technologies such as PHP (Symfony/Silex), Node.js, Angular (TypeScript), NgRx, ElasticSearch, and Redis.

In January 2022, they were promoted to the position of Director of Frontend Engineering at 5th Kind Inc., where they further emphasized improving the dev team's workflow, collaboration with other teams, and enhancing the SPA and mobile applications through refactoring plans.

Eugene Golubev attended Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a specialist diploma in Complex protection of information objects. Prior to that, they attended Petrovsky College from 2002 to 2007 and received a complete secondary education in software computing, software development, and basic and upper levels of learning.

In terms of additional certifications, Eugene Golubev completed the "gRPC [Golang] Master Class: Build Modern API & Microservices" course at Udemy in January 2023. Eugene also completed the "Go: The Complete Developer's Guide" course at Udemy in October 2019.
