Praveen Thankayyan

Praveen Thankayyan has over 19 years of extensive experience in accounting and payroll management, currently serving as Group Manager I Accounting and Compliance at UST since August 2009, overseeing global payroll operations for over 25,000 employees across 25+ countries. Praveen has successfully implemented business process improvements leading to increased efficiency and significant cost savings. Prior roles at UST include Manager II Accounting and Compliance and Assoc. Manager - Finance, where effective team leadership and compliance in payroll processing were demonstrated. Earlier experience includes positions at M/S KEERTHI & BHAVAN ARCHITECTS, RevenueMed, and PKR & CO., where Praveen developed foundational skills in finance, accounts, and auditing. Praveen holds a Master of Commerce and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Kerala.
