Ryan Heafy

Ryan Heafy is the COO at 6AM City, a location-based social networking web development company. Prior to that, they were the Founding Executive Director of iMAGINE Upstate, a non-profit program designed to promote workforce and economic development through community engagement with an emphasis on STEAM, innovation and entrepreneurial activity. Ryan has also held the position of Quality Systems Leader at ADEX Machining Technologies, a supplier of precision machined components for the Aerospace, Defense, and Energy industries.

Throughout their career, Ryan has demonstrated their ability to successfully lead organizations through periods of transformation and growth. Ryan has a proven track record in raising private industry investment, developing and executing large-scale events, and championing the introduction of new systems and best practices. Ryan’s experience in the Aerospace, Defense, and Energy industries makes him uniquely qualified to lead 6AM City in its mission to provide innovative solutions for the social networking needs of these industries.

Ryan Heafy's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, a Masters of Business Administration in Management from Quinnipiac University, and certifications from New York University in New Media Hyper Accelerator, CoFoundersLab in Advanced Fundraising, Sikorsky Aircraft in Program Management Academy, and ASQ in Six Sigma Green Belt.

They are on a team with Sarah Andrews - Editorial Director, Julie Brown - Sales Director, and Emily Herron - Director of Account Management.
