David Murray has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Software Engineer at 6sense since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Development Engineer from September 2019 to December 2021.

Before joining AWS, David served as the Founder and Head of Logistics at Sigma Phi Epsilon Catering from March 2018 to May 2019. In this role, they developed and presented a plan to replace an outdated meal system, collaborated with over 20 restaurants to cater for a group of 80+ members, and managed a budget of $150,000+ to order over 20,000 meals annually.

David also gained valuable experience as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon Web Services in 2018. During this internship, they worked on the Lambda Control Plane team, utilizing the AWS platform to implement solutions that addressed storage limit data reconciliation, database availability impact, and multi-invoke operations. David also developed metrics and alarms to analyze drift causes.

Additionally, David had internships and consultant roles at Earthport. As a Software Engineer Intern and Consultant from May 2017 to April 2018, they created a full web interface for the data analytics suite and presented it to the Executive Committee, resulting in its endorsement and implementation for client, risk, and market planning. In 2016, as a Research & Development Engineer Intern, they designed and implemented data mining and analytics scripts and presented a solution suite for global banking networks visualization.

Before their internships, David owned and operated DM TechWorks, providing computer consultancy services from October 2011 to February 2018. Furthermore, they worked as a Caddy at Spring Brook Country Club in 2012 and as a Counselor in Training at Harbor Hills Day Camp during the same year.

David Murray attended Morristown High School from 2011 to 2015, where they earned their high school degree. In 2012, they also completed a program at Kean University, studying how to build and use computer simulations to solve problems in STEM fields. From 2014 to 2014, Murray participated in a Summer Challenge program at Boston University. Additionally, from 2015 to 2019, they studied at Carnegie Mellon University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering.
