Shanil Patel

Shanil Patel has a diverse range of work experience. Shanil began their career at DataFrameworks, Inc. as a Sales Development Intern in April 2018. During this role, Shanil developed a strong technical knowledge of data storage and file management and conducted cold outreach to key decision-makers. Shanil built valuable relationships with various members of the company's team, including the VP and CEO.

In January 2018, Shanil joined the Associated Students of the University of Oregon as a Financial Controller. Their responsibilities included maintaining accurate financial records, identifying and addressing errors in budgets, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records during the university's year-end close process.

The following year, in June 2019, Shanil worked as a Finance and Strategy Intern at Rubrik, Inc. Throughout this role, they rotated between Sales Finance, Deal Desk Finance, and Product Finance departments. Shanil developed a go-to-market travel and entertainment expense model that led to expense policy changes. Additionally, Shanil identified unusual expenses by region to ensure compliance and prevent fraud.

Currently, Shanil is employed at 6sense as an Enterprise Business Development professional since August 2020. Shanil recently transitioned into the role of Account Executive in April 2022.

Shanil Patel attended Carlmont High School from 2012 to 2016. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and a minor in Economics at the University of Oregon from 2016 to 2020.
